JJ Hooper
Northampton Town reported that the striker was back at Vale Park after suffering a thigh injury. The official Northampton Town website quoted Rob Page saying: “JJ Hooper tweaked his thigh last Saturday and he’s been back at Port Vale getting assessed. He’s had a scan but until we know the results from that it’s hard to say whether he will be available.”

The midfielder played the whole ninety minutes of Chester’s 1-1 draw with Bromley.

The keeper was again on the bench for Gateshead as they drew 2-2 with Eastleigh.
