Billy Reeves joins Witton Albion on loan
Billy Reeves joins Witton Albion: Port Vale have announced that young defender Billy Reeves has been allowed to move out on loan.
Reeves becomes the sixth Vale player to be loaned out – joining JJ Hooper, Dan Turner, Sam Johnson, Ryan Lloyd and Ryan Boot.
The youngster played in several of Vale’s summer friendly games and the move to Witton Albion will enable Reeves to gain further first-team experience.
It will be the second time that Reeves has played for Witton Albion as he joined them for a successful loan spell last season.
An official Port Vale FC press release stated:
Billy Reeves joins Witton Albion
We can confirm that Billy Reeves has joined Northern Premier League Division One South side Witton Albion on a 28 day loan spell.
Reeves, who has been a key player in the youth set-up was called into the first team this summer by manager Bruno Ribeiro.
Billy played in several pre-season friendlies and now has the opportunity to get some more game time under his belt with Witton.
It will be the youngsters second spell with the club, having joined them last November on a one month loan.
Witton are currently top of the division on goal difference and Reeves looks set to help with their impressive start.
