Enoch Andoh returns to training
Winger Enoch Andoh has returned to training according to a tweet posted on Twitter
Andoh tweeted:
While journalist Dennis Mirpuri added:
Andoh’s future at Vale Park is in some doubt after the player and the club failed to reach agreement on a new contract. The 23 year-old is training with Vale as the club has a “duty of care” to help the player recuperate after anterior cruciate damage.
Port Vale chairman Norman Smurthwaite does not appear to have completely ruled out a deal for Andoh and has tweeted last week about the possibility of a “new contract” for the winger.
However, earlier in the summer Smurthwaite suggested that the club had “moved on” from Andoh after negotiations broke down, so it is unclear whether or not the player will be agreeing terms with Vale or will move elsewhere once he has regained full fitness.
Ghanaian winger Andoh would undoubtedly be an asset to the side if he manages a full recovery from the injury after an impressive spell in the team last season.
