Port Vale announce new striker signing

Port Vale FC have announced the signings of striker Rigino Cicilia

The player is 21 and stands six foot five inches tall. He has signed a two year deal.

A Vale press release states:

We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Rigino Cicilia from Dutch side Roda JC Kerkrade on a two-year deal, with an option of a third.

The 21 year-old, who stands at just over 6ft5in, is the latest player to sign for Port Vale and will be looking to hit the ground running.

Born in Willemstad, Curacao, Cicilia began his career within the youth sides at KVC Oranje, FC Kerkrade-West, Alemannia Aachen and Roda JC.

Having made his professional debut at the age of 19, Rigino went on to make over 20 appearances in his first full season.

A loan spell followed during the 2015/16 campaign at RKC Waalwijk, where he enjoyed his time, with a major highlight coming against Jong Ajax, when he scored his first professional hat-trick.

Cicilia will link up with rest of his team mates as they begin their pre-season training ahead of the new season.
