Smurthwaite set for Innis talks with Palace
Vale owner Norman Smurthwaite says he is travelling to Selhurst Park at the end of May to discuss terms for a possible loan move.
The Valiants have made no secret of their desire to add defender Ryan Inniss to their squad in a long-term loan deal.
I am going to last home game at Crystal Palace as guest of Chairman to discuss terms…
Smurthwaite posted on this website’s forum commenting that the “talks never ended when Ryan went back. I am going to last home game at Crystal Palace as guest of Chairman to discuss terms.”
Palace’s final home game of the season is on the 24th May when they host Swansea City and Vale fans will be hopeful that a deal to bring Inniss back to Vale Park can be announced shortly afterwards.
It will be a major boost to Rob Page to bring Inniss to the club and the manager has indicated that defence and attack will be the priority areas to strengthen in the summer.
