Manager Rob Page says he is “loving” the job and that “it’s a fantastic club to be part of.”
Page has enjoyed a good start to his managerial reign winning nine of his twenty games in charge and he told the Sentinel: “We have a fantastic group of players here who are as honest as the day is long. But it [a pre-season] would give me an opportunity to put my own stamp on things and try different things.
“We have seen a little difference in the style of play, but I think having a full pre-season to implement that will make it an even better change.
“It is an opportunity I would love to have.
“I am enjoying my time here. This club gave me my coaching opportunity as a youth team coach four years ago and it’s a fantastic club to be part of.
“The chairman knows I am loving the job and my feelings on it. No doubt in a couple of months’ time we will have that conversation.”
