Bodmin Town 1-4 Port Vale
New signing Colin Daniel (pictured) was on the mark but Vale suffered an injury blow to Carl Dickinson during their game against Bodmin Town.
The Valiants rested striker Tom Pope but were rocked by an early injury to Carl Dickinson who went off just 13 minutes into the game.
By then, Vale had already taken an two goal lead courtesy of Chris Birchall (two minutes) and Ben Williamson (eleven minutes).
They made it 3-0 on forty minutes through Colin Daniel and took a three goal lead into the interval.
Vale made changes at the break and Bodmin pulled a goal back with fifteen minutes to go through Shepherd.
However, Mark Marshall sealed the victory with nine minutes left with a fine solo goal.
