Rob Headlines

We’re not just Port Vale news on this website. Here’s some details of a new football academy that’s coming to the Northwood Stadium.

“FETA” The football and Education Training Academy is set to expand their very successful Greater Manchester scholarship scheme and launch their unique academy model in Stoke on Trent. We will operate and be based at Northwood Stadium, close to Hanley town centre.

FETA have stipulated they would need a minimum of 20 first year students to enrol and sign up for the two year course.

An initial open day was held on Friday June 6th at Northwood Stadium and 13 individuals expressed serious interest.

The next open day/trial and meet the staff and management team is Friday June 20th at 6. 30p.m. Northwood stadium

What is it ?

It is a fantastic and unique opportunity for talented 16 – 18 year old male or female footballers or sports career seeking individuals to join a fully focused environment that strives to produce the best each and every individual has within them.

As a student of the academy you will be fully prepared for the future, your scholarship will educate you to a BTEC Level 3 Diploma, equivalent to up to 3 A Levels, Thus allowing University entrance to pursue your sports career pathway. FETA also have strong links to suitable Sport related Universities and have a network of contacts in place to gain USA scholarships.

As players within the FETA organisation you will have the opportunity to train for up to 18 hours a week in a competitive professional football environment. Represent FETA in the national college leagues and progress to represent your local professional teams or local semi pro/amateur football teams.

How do I find out more?

The FETA website address is www.fetaltd.com

You can also ring Simon Birks on 07761 720244. Leave your name and contact detail and he will call you back and address any concern or questions you may have.
