Port Vale midfielder Chris Birchall has retired from International football after receiving his 27th Trinidad and Tobago cap in a 2-0 win over Jamaica on Tuesday.
Birchall was called into the side so that he could be thanked for his efforts for Trinidad and Tobago after he announced his retirement from International football.
Port Vale’s record International appearance maker was applauded onto the pitch and received a signed short memento to commemorate his service for his country. He also met the president of Trinidad and Tobago who paid personal tribute to Chris’ efforts.
