Adams dismisses Navarro link
Micky Adams has dismissed a report in the Swindon Advertiser as “absolute rubbish” after Vale were linked with midfielder Alan Navarro.
According to a tweet from Sentinel reporter Guy Pearson, who is travelling with the Vale squad during their Irish tour Adams dismissed the claim as “absolute rubbish.”
The Swindon Advertiser had claimed that Port Vale “have shown an interest” in the 32 year-old midfielder.
The Valiants have lost Ryan Burge, Sam Morsy, Kingsley James and Anthony Griffith from their midfield and while the recent signing of Chris Lines has been welcomed, another new face would certainly add depth to the Valiants’ midfield.
