Adams: situation has not changed
Micky Adams has told the Sentinel that the “situation has not changed” after Port Vale FC claimed that Gillingham had made an approach to speak to him.
The Vale claim was rejected by Gills chairman Paul Scally as “rubbish” and Adams told the newspaper:
“I’m still the manager at Port Vale and I’m happy at the club. The situation has not changed.
“I’m trying to enjoy a holiday, and talk about Gillingham making an approach was news to me. As far as I’m concerned, that’s that.”
Prospective owner Keith Ryder added: “Micky is an integral part of what we are trying to build at Port Vale and, to my knowledge, he has no desire to leave.”
