Port Vale sign Adnam Ahmed on loan
The on-off saga of Adnam Ahmed’s loan move to Vale Park has been completed with the midfielder signing for the Valiants on loan.
The move stalled earlier this week after reports that Tranmere wanted a three month loan rather than Vale’s month on loan.
Cash-strapped Vale were funded the move thanks to a mystery sponsor and were unwilling to loan Ahmed for three months.
However, the official Vale website has now confirmed the move has gone ahead – and that it is for just one month.
It could be that Tranmere have decided that it is better for Ahmed to spend a month at Vale than remaining in Tranmere’s reserves.
The 24 year-old has previously played over 40 games for Huddersfield Town and is a Pakistan International.
