Question marks over Kay and Hannant too but would lean to keeping both as I think they both have things to offer and are reliable[/QUOTE]

Kay has been dreadful. For a 36 year old pro he makes too many amateur errors. I hope he goes. The poster boy of the mediocre, cheap rubbish of the last days of Smurf.

Agree about Crooks, he started OK but there must be better out there. Not convinced.

Heard a rumour today (and it is very much a third hand one) that Askey's looking to get rid of Smith due to his antics with some of the other youngsters. Hope not - but will wait and see.

In fairness to Crookes though isn't he a centre half playing out of position?

Looks like a rabbit in headlights when he ventures into the opposition half and hasn't a clue what to do.

Hasn't he said how much he rates him and said he is the ultimate professional?

Why would you make up blatant lies about Smith?

Askey chose Smith as the young player of the year this season!

Askey even said "...the winner shows a lot of maturity for his age".

    Absolute stupid comment.

I wonder if we could lure Gareth Ainsworth out of retirement?

Nowt wrong with ex-players if they've still got something to offer.
We'd all have had Neal back last summer and Pope hasn't been too shabby since his return.
If they are good enough it doesn't matter who they are or where they come from.

Personally I would not look for long at players in their late thirties and Richards is 37 this July. No chance.

We'll need pace, hunger, energy and 100% fitness for 90 minutes from everyone next season.
