If these kind of bonus is paid in industry questions are asked, MP's jump up in parliament expressing mock indignation even if the bonus scheme was agreed before hand and yet in the greed is good league money is thrown about with abandon and doesn't even raise an eyebrow.

All the Prem clubs were asked to contribute 250k each. Oil for the gravy train.

The lack of judgement in pursuing this defies belief. This is a kick in the teeth for fans and is clear evidence of the inability of senior people in football to safeguard in trust our national sport. These fat cat cash hungry people are completely oblivious to our heritage as fans. His bonus would buy Port Vale. Is that the true value of lower league clubs to the Premier League? If Scudamore had an ounce of common sense and decency he would say that this money should go to a football related charitable trust. I am so angry about this.

I just felt dismay and frustration when I read the article, a bonus of that size is beyond comprehension. Asking the EPL clubs for 250K each towards a bonus made me chuckle.

He supposedly manages or is responsible for the broadcasting contracts for the EPL, well IMHO he's done a p*ss poor job in the USA as NBC's coverage is disjointed and fractured, it was much better with FOX, better coverage and better program choice.

    Money for old rope.
