I'm with you. I think judging by what we saw on Saturday with the senior pros having a real go at him a lot for not talking and being commanding enough in his area, coupled with his poor kicking in the same game will see him dropped.

1-0 down at break. Looks an inexperienced backline up against Alex Kiwomya.

Not many in that group pushing for a first team berth.

Lainton could be starting on Saturday, then again he could just be injured again.

My thoughts entirely. Given his long injury record he isn't the long term answer.

According to the Sentinel blog it's 1-1 now, Forrester.

Won 2-1. Young left back (Steele) scored the last kick of the game.

Perhaps we should play the reserves. Or maybe not.

We've lost none and only drawn twice.

The reason is that because we have too big a squad, we have a lot of fringe players in the reserves. I think come the summer when Aspin sorts his squad properly you'll see mostly youth graduates with a few of the subs added in.

It's starting to look more like that now, but at times the whole reserve line-up wouldn't be far off the starting XI, which shows squad depth if not squad quality.
