Neil Aspin and John Rudge rejoin the Vale

If reports are to be believed then it appears to be almost certain that Neil Aspin will be announced as the club's new manager with John Rudge joining in a Director of Football role.

I'd like to wish both of them the very best of luck - share your thoughts about their appointment or simply wish the pair of them good luck on this thread...

Best news for a long time. Gormless Norman selling the club to someone with the IQ required to run a football club would make it complete.

As it stands, I wish Aspo & Rudgey all the luck in the world. God knows they'll need it when dealing with **********.

Anybody that can find a negative in this announcement really does need to get some happy pills.

So after supposedly buying a Tesla during/after the January window Smurthwaite has now got himself a Delorean and travelled back to 1989!

I wish both of them all the best and hope that their work can get us points on the board and climbing the table asap.

Lord only knows I, and all Valeites, hope this report is true. If it is, Smurfthwaite please keep out of the way and let these two genuine Vale legends get on with the job in hand. My God, I actually feel excited ! Cue Smurfthwaite to screw it all up.

    Fantastic if true.
I would urge all fans to back Aspo and Rudgie. I personally would like to thank them with all my heart for the fantastic times they have given me in the past. I truly wish them well. If this is true Norman deserves some credit. He may never recover from the past but this is a massive step in a very long road to redemption.

Bril if true. This was the only pair that Smurf could instal to remotely attempt to get any kudos back off us fans. Hope he now leaves them to ressurect our Club and he remains 100% behind whatever they require to get us back in a safe and hopefully continuing successful future.
