Matchday Thread: Port Vale v Accrington Stanley

3 points after a polished 3 5 2 performance in the mind of the new manager watching from the posh seats. Back to the real world, draw breath, check on injuries, continue drumming in the new formation, make sure there is effort on the pitch. Stanley have made a decent start, but below Notts, who were not up to much, so go at them Vale, onwards and upwards.

Need a win, as even with 3 more points we can only reach 20th on Tues best case scenario, as full schedule playing. Could start to get left behind otherwise. Hoping for a new manager, not expecting though.

I'd keep the same team and formation from Saturday with the obvious exception of right wing back. I'm not convinced by Wilson but we'll have to hope he puts in a good performance and can replicate what Denton and Gibbons were giving us on Saturday with the support and service to the front 2.

It will be Coleman's first game as Vale manager
