Let us not forget that Hughes saved QPR from relegation in his first season at QPR and that may very well be his role at Stoke judging by their 2013 results

Disliked by who? The media - who cares? Other football fans? Most I encounter on my travels think Stoke are a decent traditional club and have mainly good things to say. They might not like the perceived style of play but it would be all the duller if every team played the same style/tactics/formation etc.........
