Lorne Street Stand

Recommended Posts

Priorities! have to be on-pitch and stabilising the business as a whole. I'm quietly confident that Paul Wildes and the Smurf will get around to Lorne Street when other things are in place and the club on a better financial footing. At the moment, we don't need the additional capacity, but in good time and assuming the first items above are put right, who knows? Let's hope that by the time we're in the Championship it will be completed and ready to take the extra spectators--keep the faith. Anyway the Familia Sagrada is one of the ugliest buildings I've ever visited!

Well said Bycarsbill.

Is this really appropriate ? There are reasons I re entered education and its one to help people (due to some of my own personal problems I wont state on here). I worked for many years in local factories and warehouses, worked in dementia care also. I am working towards a career because I want to make a difference to peoples lives and turn them around for the better. I got diagnosed as dyslexic at 26 and wanted a bigger challenge than I have had before.

if you want a challenge try living on a pension

and i was diagnosed as different before puberty, all light hearted banter, no one's bullying it's just adult humour.;);)

Until we know the opening date of the new shop, which is a few weeks off starting never mind completion, there is no chance of guessing Lorne St completion.

Yeah, noticed a July date for the plans to be passed by the Council for the shop to be moved. So possibly that is why Lorne street had to be delayed. I know, when I applied for Planning permission for an house extension, it ain't a quick process. Although obviously might be different between councils and Businesses.

I was of the understanding that the plans had already been passed when the gym was built. If they have merely expired then surely its just a rubber stamping exercise?

And I would like to post without comments about the fact that I'm female, my former profession, my origins, my size, etc but it won't happen so I ignore it or take the p*** back. Makes life a lot easier. Don't take stuff so personally.

why don't you like being called a lardy arsed Geordie ex school teaching bint? ;)

Don't understand - is it a change of use application or is the building (old shop) to have 'external works' done on it which I assume are turnstiles?
I thought the new shop was under the gym, but it appears to be a new area on the side, or have I missed it being built?
