Lorne Street Stand

Been away from the forums for a while, wondered if anything has been mentioned about completing the lorne street stand, surely it's one of their priorities to complete the stadium? Or have I missed something?

got to move the shop first as it's where the extended concourse has to be, it'll o get done, they've done mower in six months than them others did in six ears.

We had the plans approved only recently. I'll bet you a tenner the corner of the Wedding/South Stand is complete before the Lorne Street. The only thing I can't understand is why no one's ever nominated it to become a UNESCO World Heritage site, the tourists would come flocking....:D

They're working on it.

I'm starting to think the Sagrada Familia will be completed before the Lorne Street......:D

Priorities! have to be on-pitch and stabilising the business as a whole. I'm quietly confident that Paul Wildes and the Smurf will get around to Lorne Street when other things are in place and the club on a better financial footing. At the moment, we don't need the additional capacity, but in good time and assuming the first items above are put right, who knows? Let's hope that by the time we're in the Championship it will be completed and ready to take the extra spectators--keep the faith. Anyway the Familia Sagrada is one of the ugliest buildings I've ever visited!

Agree with all of that, didn't the new owners claim it would be complete by next season though?

Can't ever remember them being so specific as to promise completion for next season, but like I said, I'm sure they will have it on their 'list of things to do' but surely only they can know when the time is right in financial terms. Like you, I'd love to see it completed, but I think we'll just have to be patient.

Why bother when you'll be playing championship football in a couple of seasons in front of gates less than 15000?

Paul Wildes confidently said it would be on his Radio Stoke phone in along with the relaid pitch and new shop. Not moaning just saying before anyone starts.

It's great to see Tunstallpotter spending 4 hours of his Saturday morning on a rival clubs messageboard.

I'm tempted to report you to social services for neglect of your kids. Have they had to make their own breakfast this morning?
