Glad it's over

I would like to thank Valiant 2001 for completely sapping any enthusiasm I have for the football club I have followed religiously for over 20 years. In years gone by, I was always gutted at the last home, but not this year. Come 4.45 today I will be glad I no longer have to witness the slump the board has created and stubbornly will not remedy. We have an opportunity to move forward but at the moment and I feel utterly frustrated by a group of stubborn men, who would rather serve their own agendas than do what is best for a 125 year old football club and it's thousands of loyal fans.

 

It is also a day of mixed emotions as I will not be renewing my season ticket and that makes me very sad. I have sat in the same seat for 18 seasons, had a ST for 19 and making 20 on the bounce would have been very nice. I also know I am not the only one who feels like this- there are literally hundreds of others. I wonder Mr Bratt, how do you feel about crushing the passion of so many people? In addition, why would anyone of sound mind wish to do this to a club they apparently love and it's loyal fans?

 

It is a real shame that the people in control can not see past their own selfish needs- a real shame

Been going since 1976 and wont attend any more home games until the board are gone. My stomach is churning as I type this. Will be at the march though not sure I will even go into the ground today.

And the worst thing is, when the rubbish ST sales figures come out, Bratt will blame us and say we aren't getting behind the club.

Spot on Yukon. I'm actually looking forward to the march and the protest more than the match today!! 45 years for me, ST holder and shareholder - no ST next year for me though. How could you do this to OUR club Bratt? How do you sleep at night? As long as you block Mo, you couldn't care less about PVFC or us fans could you! =========
