Season Ticket Sales

I'm not so sure the Coventry game will be a big gate at Vale Park. They are in an absolute mess and for them to do anything next season would be a miracle. They don't have a pot to relieve themselves in, and given their illustrious history I'm not sure a trip to Burslem will see a northbound exodus of Sky Blues.

The only good thing is we can sing at them "No ground, **** fans".

Pretty sure they will be taken over and back at the Ricoh come the start of the season. They will bring at least 3k to Vale Park next season.

They won't be playing at the Ricoh. A subsidiary company of Sisu are approved bidders. Even before bidding started Sisu said they wont play at the Ricoh and that they will build a new ground. They'll probably be at Walsall for a couple of seasons while they build the new ground. Coventry fans are boycotting so they'll be getting about 4 thou if they do play at the Bescot. They say they'll go all away games, but we've already found out with SEO that it doesn't always work like that.

I don't think the end game is to build a new ground. The end game is to force the existing owners of the ground into administration and buy the ground cheaply.
I think there are a few angles to this, what could the Ricoh ground be used for, playing hardball? More parking for Tesco? I will be very surprised if Cov have a new ground, but there again I have lost track of the various owners and debts.

There's plenty going on there without the footie Fosse.;)

Nah I'm not so sure Coventry will bring 3,000+ to Vale Park next season. They are on the decline and interest in their club is waning.

I reckon they will bring half that amount nearer 1,500. Some Stoke fans have said Coventry haven't travelled in huge numbers when they have visited the Britannia.

Wolves of course will bring loads to Vale Park next season. 3,500+ easily whilst Sheff Utd will probably bring around 2,000.

Preston sold out a 2,400 allocation at Crewe well in advance of the game in April, when neither side had anything to play for, so they should also bring 2,500+ to Vale Park unless it's a midweek fixture.
