I think Shukers cameos have made him the dependable one. Showed in his attitude when he came on against Northampton.

Good call Doddsy is... a post a bit up the thread says Shuker is the best footballer with the best game understanding at the club, which he may be, but Doddsy is certainly up there. Personally, I think that Shuker and Doddsy will do well in L1 if kept as there is more room for footballers and less room for big, strong, physical, Clarke Carlisle like players.

In my humble opinion there a lot more unsung heroes

 

The school kid who saves his/her pocket money or part time job money towards going to see the vale.

 

People on benefits & the low paid who scrimp & save to be able to watch the vale.

 

The people who threw money into the save the vale fund but couldn't really afford to.

 

The pensioner who despite their age still manages to make it up the ground in all weathers .

 

I'm fortunate enough to have a reasonably good job,but I know people have to make sacrifices to see our vale.
