Without keith ryder, we wouldnt of had a team at all as he paid the wages (for a month?) and basically stopped us from going under.so i, for one, thank you mr ryder, even if you did dissapear

i still think he was a trojan horse but we don't know and perhaps never will. but he bought time and did us all a favour, on whose behalf is anyones guess.

Yes in an odd sort of way he helped put the squad together that has finally got us out of the bottom tier and for that I am very grateful.

I would love to say a big thank you to him. The knight in shining armour when the Valliant's needed someone. Did his hero bit and did what all hero's do, melted back to where he came from. This then allowed PW and Smurf to come along. Without his help we would not have today as there would not have been a club.

Cheers Keith if you are reading this. If I live to be 100 I will probably never get to know what your motives/intentions really were, but you kept us alive when clearly we could have gone under.

I give you a lot of credit for where we are today and whatever the reasoning for your disappearance I truly hope you and yours are all well and good luck to you whatever you do.

I doubt we will ever know the full story. I've heard many a slant on what took place from Keith Ryder attended home games as a guest of Oliver before we went into admin and that Mrs Ryder was to invest but her cold foot signalled the beginning of the end and months of pain, anguish, confusion and frustration.

As others have said, the move that Keith Ryder made and the money he spent got us to where we are now. If he had not come in, we would either have had no club or another owner altogether. The chances are we would not have been promoted.

 

As I often say, life is a series of consequences. You have to go through a storm to have the benefit of rain. Without rain, nothing grows.
