Just to update you on what is happeneng down here for Lewis.

 

We had a bucket collection on Easter Saturday and raised over £1.000,

 

We have a raffle currently under way,there are 1.000 tickets and to date have sold approx 600.

Some of the prizes we have obtained are 1)Full Welsh international shirt from the last game 2) England under 21 s keepers shirt. 3) Norwich shirt. 4)Bolton Wanderers shirt.5)Shirt from some team called Port Vale 6)Jason Roberts shirt.7)Gillingham shirt. some signed footballs from past decades of Rovers players and several more shirts to come.All signed.

 

We have a testimonial on Monday 13th May at 7.45 when a lot of former Rovers stars of the past will be trying to relive their old days.

 

The only thing i havent managed to do is get something from Robbie Williams so any help you can give in this matter will be appreciated.

 

As for Vale enjoy the promotion party on Saturday

Thanks for the replies,we blew it last night,but it has been a great few months since xmas 40 points from 21 games,but i think we just ran out of steam.You are right about Lewis he is a nice guy and appreciates everything people are doing for him,forgot to say he was overwhelmed with the turn out the other week at Vale and that you also raised £1.000.Ever little is going to help because the insurance company are fighting against a pay out,a measly £15.000,bet they wouldnt argue if it was Rooney and the had to shell out £250.000.One law for the rich.I will let you know how things end up in a few weeks time,meanwhile i am having a few weeks back just outside of Padstow to recharge my batteries for the final push.You wouldnt believe how difficult it is organising a testimonial.All the best for Saturday i will be looking for a win from both our clubs
