I went for the 0-0 draw, was the opening game the season we went down from the Championship. I think Friedel might have been in goal for them? and Matt Jansen played. Whatever the state of the place it's another fixture with surely a decent revenue stream attached to it should we both be in the same league next season.

 

I also went to that game. From memory, we took quite a few there.

I remember going there when we lost in the cup in the mid to late 90s.

Went to see them Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday. Their lack of confidence compared to Vale Friday night was striking. They couldn't do the simple things right and the two of the goals they conceded were easily preventable. Rhodes offers a threat but they're in trouble alright

I went to Blackburns game at Derby in the FA Cup this season, both teams put out strong lineups. Blackburn won 3-0 and played some good football so I am surprised at how their season has turned out. based on that performance they have the players to play well at championship level. It just shows how badly a team can be affected by goings on behind the scenes and by so many changes in management.

A trip to Ewood Park next season is looking like a distinct possibility at the moment.
