Thanx for the extra fixtures - the picture gets a little clearer and it says promotion much closer for Vale after todays great results. It may even be that something like 76 or 77 turns out to be enough, but Bradford can help us even more.

 

It gives us a cushion if there is a nasty shock on tuesday, but even a draw against Aldershot wouldnt be a disaster now. I still think Vale and Northampton could both get promoted the same day (20 April) at Vale Park, what a party that would be - I wonder if it has ever happened at a match where both sides play each other and both get promoted (because someone else fails to win elsewhere)?

I don't remember two teams playing in a game where they get promoted but I still remember Swindon and Hartlepool playing out a draw so that they would both get in the playoffs at the expense of us....bar stewards.
