Also, before the game yesterday both Ray and Lee Blakeman were expressing surprise that Loft and Morsy were not in the squad. Now the Loft bit I can understand but Morsy was still suspended despite them saying he was available. That is just lazy resporting by the pair of them.

why will we need virtually a new team? Did we not beat Tranmere, Walsall, and give Sheff Utd a very good game or something? Crewe added nobody to their side that finished 7th in the league last year and also lost their star player to Man United. They sit comfortably in mid-table in league 1. A couple of new centre halves and a winger and we would do well in the league above.

 

Mr Williams needs only to look at the league table and ask himself again if teams really have worked us out and find us so easy to play against

 

So the whole defence is good enough for a higher division ? Obviously Neal is, and the midfield is capable of a higher division ? Dont forget Griff has failed, Vincent and Williams have failed,Shuker wont figure, Burge wont figure,Loft and Dodds are fringe players.

Pope will be OK and also Hughes,Williamson will be a fringe player.

 

If the above players do figure We will struggle.

 

Using Crewe as an example is ridiculous,they have a good number of young players who have developed under a system that allows young players to prosper, they added Pogba who has had a very good season so far
