R I P mr bell , he was as dodgy as they come but brought many happy days to many people along side JR, I' ll never forget him showing us around the ground the hamil end was a great coup for him he was puffing on his cigar glowing with pride

I was speaking to Bill at Baddeley Green club last year.. He was imensely proud of his Vale years.. Rest in peace Bill and condolences to the family.. Vale and proud.

I was shocked when I heard this on the Radio - rest in peace Bill

 

My path crossed with Bill about 20 years ago after I had a car crash and I have to say he was a total gent - he was making a shilling out of my situation which no doubt helped - but he went out of his way to make sure that everything was ok

 

Thanks for the memories Bill, my best years as a Vale Fan came when you and Rudgey were around
