Goals from all over the field

Being the top scorers in the country it occured to me today that every position has scored. Assuming a 442 formation and not limited to any single player:

 

Both striking positions have scored.

Central midfield has scored.

Both wingers have scored.

Left back has scored.

Centre half has scored.

I think right back has scored.

 

And... goal keeper?

Quite funny that our reserve goalies goal tally for the season is the same as 'World class Sjoke striker' Micheal Owen!

Did you see Duffy? He nearly scored too. Goal threats from every angle and inch of the park, Vale are awesome.

I have double checked - right back is the only position not to have got a goal.

And it's Richard Duffy, he steps up.... he's missed it!!! High up into the bycars!!! Still, Vale are still winning 4-0 anyway...:D

If we are counting Sam Johnson's penalty as a goal surely Yates' penalty should count as well in the same shoot out?

Its good that goals are coming from everywhere. Shows that defenders are double marking the front guys and allowing the others to have the ball. Some of the goals from the other players have been great to see as well, not just tap ins, but good shots on goal.

goals from all over, what a nightmare for the opposition who do you double mark, you mark pope and hughes scores then vincent smacks in a couple, the more the merrier.

Jones commented recently that he is glad he is not facing Pope and Hughes as they have already got into a good relationship and know where each other will be in the box.

 

Other teams defenders must be bricking it now, not only Pope and Hughes, but you have other players getting on the score sheet as well and scoring some magic goals. Wonder what the coaches are putting in their water bottles. What ever it is dont stop.

Its amazing that we've scored 26 goals more than any other team in L2 with 16 games left:D

Still an amazing statistic, I reckon a lot will look back on this season in 20 years time and appreciate the attacking brilliance maybe a bit more than now. 100 goals in all competitions would be nice, we have over 70 already.
