Another ignorant thread towards attendances!

Im sure some live in a little bubble and dont face reality.

PVTony..... It inner rocket science. Go to google and do your homework on previous attendances, especially in this division. You will then see why i get constantly irate at you and other posters who post utter nonsense about our attendances and think we should be getting more.

Sme of you are so ignorant towards our history its untrue.

How do our attendences compare to other promotion winning seasons?

Sjoke city in the prem really doesn't help . I have met at least 5 people who used to go vale and now go up the brit . (traitors off with thier heads) but they live in the same city and they get 20 000 plus ??? This and pvfc gate prices are surely the cause . I don't have a solution tho , just saying :-)

September 2010 we beat Accrington to go top in front of 5700. Followed on the tuesday by 8400 against shrewsbury, they brought over 1000, but we had 7000 vale fans. It was full price, plus the anti board feeling was building momentum, Newton was meeting fans etc. Lets see how many we get Tuesday, tenner entry, win we go top etc. I really hope we get 6500 - 7000 Vale fans there.

As previously stated 20 quid a game is stupid for this level 10 quid would be better. Over time at 10 quid a gate 10000 is doable. Also makes me think . If we get promoted what's the pitch invasion last home game attendance going to be ? What u all think ?

Not everybody thinks 20 quid is a lot of money; but it is and proportion doesnt enter into the equasion as it should with the other three divisions.

I cant blame Stoke fans for shunning that game days ago against Man City; it must be an absolute nightmare to go every game if you have kids. As far as Vale are concerned though, Top of the league or not the club should consider the matchday experience ie toilets and accessibility, prematch/halftime entertainment, pricing and quality of food and drink, ect and as it stands all these factors point to the fact the admission prices should be set lower.

£20 with a pie, drink and programme and that would be a lot more reasonable.

From memory twice the size of Gordon Lee`s days, depends on the economy and the state of our neighbours. Will grow with exciting and winning football in L1. In the meantime, cheer the lads onto promotion
