I haven't got a link but on Facebook league 2 banter page there is a gills kn0 b really givin popey some serious abuse.

Cheat, thug, rubbish, he punches pushes etc but with a lot of expletives aswell. Even suggests that he cheats to get penos which I didn't understand.

Some football fans are a bitter lot, if Pope cheats to win penalties why has he not scored a 1 of his 26 goals from the spot? And from the penalties we have had from memory I think he only won the one against Barnet. JMW tends to win(and take) most of the ones we get if anyone does!

 

They also need to view a montage of Pope's goals(and all around play comparing last season to this), all types of finishes in there from my point view and this is from someone who thought Pope was pretty hopeless up until this season(I'd have been close to agreeing with them 12 months ago!) . He could always head the ball reasonably well but he has added, fitness, power, prowess, touch and finishing ability to his game.
