I disagree. A couple of drinks before the game is part of the match day experience and supports the local economy. If we ever moved to a new ground it would probably be located in some remote area away from the town centre and the drinking opportunities it provides. Imagine being located in areas like Greenhous Meadow or the Kassam Stadium. Drinking wastelands!!

It seems to be the go to insult about PVFC that Burlsem is a **** hole. Obviously places of it are, but as a football fan there can't be a better town out there, I think if it had a train station actually in burslem it would be 10/10 for away fans.

 

A town full of pubs takeaways and a maximum 10 minute walk to the ground, it's ace burslem is.

 

I'd hate to move location.

 

Our ground is good.

Why so daft? Around 20 clubs of our size have done it over the last 20 years with different degrees of success. To grow our fan base we need better facilities and if we don't do something we'll just decline steadily or at best saty still.

 

Thats what i keep trying say when people say our facilaties are fine as they are. the railway areas and bycars are in not fit shape for 2012. Atleast something like a new indoor brick concourse where the current shack sits what we use for a concourse is needed.

If they do 'consider' making a new ground make it like the emirates a modern but not to modern, i think our ground is way to big for a League 2 side, but whats the point?if we go up to League one were gonna have some locals to play, and i would like Wolves and hopefully Sheffield Wednesday they will be huge gates.
