I can remember the Aldershot night match when the SC coach driver was dead noughty whenbeing asked if he knew the way - they were passing Gatwick at the time.

The fans were too frightened of him to ask again until they entered Brighton I believe.

They got to Aldershot in time for the last 10 minutes or so.

I was at the game (not by SC bus) and remember one lad asking the copper on the motorbike after the match if he had got a chain ? The cop asked why and got the reply 'to tie it to the bus so we dunna get lost again'

No Mate watching the Vale, don't get me wrong cracking result and very happy as its the first time I have personally seen them win this season.

But it was not the most memorable game of football I have ever watched. Neither team looked like they were ever in control or likely too a grip on the game. Bland would be the best word to describe it.

Still 3 points is 3 points and second spot in the table is all good stuff, so a very happpy bloke tonight.

They spread the play out well in the first half, but we left too much space. Yates was caught out a couple of times, but had a solid second half. I never really worried after our second - even with their 10-15 minutes of pressure before the penalty, I never felt they came too close to scoring.

BTW - did Neal actually do anything?

Also, what were the officials playing at? Throw-in/corner decisions wrong, them fouling us 5 times in a row with nothing given when they were blatant etc. Really poor display.
