Singing Other Teams' Songs

Yukon

Recommended Posts

I used to love 'Are You ready? Are you sure?. Then give us a V...............

Another was 'Your going to get your..............

(Ive never grown up my lady says)

I did are you ready at the train station before the villa game a few year ago, there was about 200-300 lads there. It was magnificent, i tried it again at chesterfield about 5 people joined in, most looked at me as if mad. The best rendition i can think of was that yates' outside the millennium in cardiff. A massive bald bloke (looked like jinksy tbh) just walked straight in and did it , the whole pub joined in bar 5 brentford fans.

It's proper chant that.

Perhaps it's time to sing 'vale are back woah woah"

Celery is the best football chant. End of.

Sick of Vale fans having a dig at those of us who like a good chant.

I would genuinely like to know why you think that. Not taking the Michael, I just think it's a nothing song that has no relevance, so I'm interested to know why you thing it's the best chant.

I don't really think that. It's so stupid and the fact it has no relevance makes it quite funny. Especially singing it when 3-0 up, it is a sort of take the **** song.

Why have we started singing **** songs by other teams? "Celery" is a Chelsea song and don't get me started on "This is what it's like to be City" (Man U), which makes us sound like a right bunch of morons. We might as well start singing "You'll never walk alone"

Im well informed by those older than myself that Celery was sung down Vale long before Chelsea.

I don't understand. So if I start singing about cauliflowers at the next match, will that be funny too?
