Going to see them at the london 02 on friday,the new album is ok but i do see why people dont like it. Absolution remains the classic.

I know Muse are a bit like Marmite, you love em or you hate them. I am a big fan and whilst they have gone in a different direction lately, I still like their stuff.

 

If you get the chance to see them live, you should give it a go. I saw them last night at the MEN, having seen them previously at the Liverpool Echo and Wembley.

 

Last night was just an epic performance and fantastic value for money.

 

Now, I am biased as a Muse fan, but to add some balance, I took my 12 year old daughter, who really isn't into Muse. She's heard a few songs but to be honest, her ideal show would be 1D (her mums taking her to see them).

 

I was interested to see what her reaction would be and thought she could get bored, taking into account a 22 song set list.

 

She absolutely loved it and was transfixed from start to finish. The stage show was spectacular and live performance second to non.

I used to love muse, seen them 7-8 times from small venues up to Wembley (new). Not arsed now, I like "Sylvia's mother" by Dr Hook. My new favourite song.
