Good manager...not great manager. Think Micky has done an excellent job...so far this season no1 can distubute that but he's far from great and hopefully we will so that come may time. But the "I love to bum Micky Adams" brigade that shoot people down on here when they have a opinion of him either rightly or wrongly is really really sad

 

 

Yes Micky has made some huge mistakes and we have had to suffer with some really negative displays from his teams.

He may be good enough to get us out of this rubbish league but that is about as far as he can take us before he gets out of his depth like when he managed Sheffield United.

Micky has always done a good job at vale with the clowns who employed him and the **** poor budget he has had to work with.

 

micky got players playing for nowt, micky attracted better players to the club and micky was a big reason why they signed their changed contract terms when in all fairness could of got offers elsewhere

What about fulham and Leicester? He took over shed it'd when they were rooted to the bottom of the league with relegation certain. Look what happened to Alan shearer at Newcastle. Nobody can doubt shearer is one of the all time great great manager's and even he couldn't keep them up.

In fairness that is dross as he is a proven manager at higher levels. Can't argue with facts and to thrwo the Blunts in without viewing the full facts is a poor attempt at discrediting his quality as a manager.
