Pleased with those signings. A really good start. Murphy is very Griff-esque from what I gather although perhaps a bit better on the ball. Vincent has League One ability but fitness has been an issue. Just hope JMW can keep up some form because I thought he started well with us but was a tad inconsistent.

Good start to the new era in my opinion. We all know what JMW is capable of and with Vincent as well we look to (finally) have 2 wingers willing to get at full backs and then put in a decent cross. Time to utilise the width of our pitch and make sure the opposition are stretched and covering plenty of km's during a match.

 

Don't know too much about Murphy but it's good to see a bit of height in midfield as we have always looked small compared to most teams. Hopefully those hills in Hanley Forest Park will help him re-build his fitness.

 

Onwards and upwards from here with that proven goalscorer we are crying out for arriving next alongside a few others including a keeper

Definately mate, taylor and rigg were very poor some of the time. whereas you could say some were decent, but with these to new lads, and as long as they are fit, it could be a real threat next campaign!

I agree with what you are saying but someone who will GARAUNTEE us 15-20 is an absolute priority,I dont believe we can rely too much on Popey scoring enough goals.
