Adams will want to give his new signings the full pre season work out so i wouldnt be surprised to see 4-5 new players by the end of next week. Im certain he would have missed out on a few he wanted though due to circumstances and id have thought we'd have stood a better chance of keeping Richards too, Bratt and co should be ashamed of themselves.

MA is back off holiday tomorrow/sunday, he'll return to todays news and up the search for new recruits and advance those already in a more prominant position. A good manager is an active one, and MA will finally have the ammunition to portray his true potential.

So why has it taken 2 months.

 

To mitigate cost, from what I can gather Ryder will cover player wages by repaying the PFA loan accrued over the last few month.

 

But non playing staff have been paid effectively by the council, so why would he rush through the deal and have to finance June's payroll???

 

Expect a positive announcement Monday coincidently when out of contract players will become redundant ie non earning!!

Patience will still be required.We cant be expecting to storm the league this season and be run away leaders.It is still going to take time to rebuild the club including the squad.It would be great if that was to happen all the same.We need to be looking at least two maybe three years to get completely out of this mess created by V2001.

Enjoy the moment you have your club back. Hopefully Ryder will show the necessary skills to put Vale back on the up. My advice to those who can afford a season ticket who haven't yet purchased one is go out and get one. The more money up front the club can bank the more solid the foundations to build a squad capable of promotion. But patience is the key, the club needs root and branch changes and Rome wasn't built in a day.

Hes done an interview on the T.N.S site saying hes looking forward to the champions league qualifiers with them (cant post a link im on my mobile),they have got a friendly tomorrow it will be interesting to see if hes in the squad.
