No way will Proctor start this one. No matter what, the League is the focus, and if he can't even train all week, no way will he start Sat/Wed/Sat/Tue. And of those 4 fixtures, this is the one to send down the river.

Or maybe:

Stone

Robinson.      Forrester.         Jones.          Hussey

                                   Pett

                         Charsley.      Conlon

Massey.                     Garrity/McDermott.               Holden

433 on the ball

451 off the ball

We are at a point where the fans who went to Exeter need compensation immediately and in performance terms the rot needs to be stopped before confidence takes a dive and pressure for results takes hold. So we need a strong side that can compete v Rotherham. Not time to play the unfit, the too young or a part time keeper from a Sunday League team.

I think that the crux of the matter is that we don't have a strong side which can compete with Rotherham...

After a lovely weekend away in Exeter, in which I didn't even hate the game of football that much, I'm mad enough to have bought a ticket for Rotherham as well.

I'm expecting us to get hammered again and also don't think we will score a goal, but I'm more than happy to go and support the team.

Am I insane?

Even if everyone was fit our srongest team would struggle to win.

After last Saturday I think we need to use this match to get the likes of Conlon, Massey, etc match fit for Saturday's league game.

Points are essential and getting any against Bolton ain't going to be easy.

Not arsed about the result in this, certainly with the current injury situation and lack of fitness, I would treat this as a pre season friendly and use it to get minutes into the likes of Holden, Massey, Conlon, Forrester, Small and Pett, also pray Wilson is fit enough to do half hour or something on his rehab.

If we can get fitness into the players who are coming back from injury that would be of some benefit.

You're only insane for buying a ticket, because there'll be about 4000 in attendance so no need to worry about getting in.

Otherwise, that's normal behaviour.

I'd like to think everyone would buy a ticket and encourage a response from the team .
Ain't brought mine yet but I think I will go I want to see hunger I want to see Vale playing with verve and who's to say we will not win .
6-2 anyone tremendous performance that .
Negativity is uncalled for the reason why Saturday got away from us the penalty decision given changed the whole game for the worse for Vale lets hope we smash a thundering volley in and get given a penalty when our left wing half falls over 5 yards outside penalty area.
