What a sign of the times. Injury ravaged two weeks into the season. Releasing injury prone players and signing injury prone players and unfit players.
Not caring about a cup which used to be prestigous. The FA need a re think here. The League Cup should be scrapped in my opinion. Or ban the top two leagues from entering and call it the Autoglass or something wacky. Then the other redundant cup call it the developement cup or something. How it is going now, I would 90% couldnt give a fudge about the league cup.
 

Definitely exclude clubs playing in Europe and give the other Prem clubs a better chance of a trophy.

Its a game that we should be looking to win and progress in the cup which would bring in much needed funds , alas we dont have a fit enough squad of players , and are very light wait in numbers , so I think the excuse from DC will be its not important and we are looking to Saturday against Bolton , frustrating times

What if, yeah, this round in particular....nobody cares about. A bit like the Papa Johns until the final although I would still not give a c r a p  about that. You could say what if we pull Man Utd in Fa Cup Fifth round away. It wouldn't prevent Newport away in round one being a non event.

In top of that I think 3,000 crowd is highly ambitious. If we get 3,200 I would be extremely happy.

I would think nearer 2000 than 3000.

This Tournament died years ago and the FA Cup is starting to go the same way.

Not wanting to appear too negative but looking at that eleven, I reckon it would struggle in the National League.

Deliberately picked weakest side i could think of. I agree with you.

I'll get called out i'm sure and people will be paying good money to attend but we certainly can't afford knocks to people like Proctor or even risk Conlon and Holden yet a while. Hall needs wrapping in cotton wool tomorrow too. 

I know i'm contradictory a bit by putting Pett in.

Sadly this Premier at all costs world we live in, even if we got through and drew an Everton, Leeds ,Villa it would be the reserves. Public are cheated in cup competitions these days.
