I thought all 1st half we looked 2nd best Hoppers but the save by Blackman from Robinson(?) at 2-0 down was a bummer for Vale. Robinson hit that with power, low and hard, great save from Blackman.

But AJ, didn't you know that DC/DF are always checking the forum for expert opinion and laser guided comments. Without some of the contributers here, I doubt whether promotion would have been achieved.  Also if they'd have bothered to check with us first, rather than swanning of to Espania, they would have got the transfer situation sorted weeks ago. Very unprofessional of them I'd say.

Credit to them. They are a few years in advance of us and maybe they can handle the money situation and the signing of players very well indeed.

Yeah mate, I agree we were second best, but thought we were defending well enough to keep them at bay.

Blackman deffo earned his money with that one, Icouldnt believe how quickly he got down; Sammy was dead unlucky there

Yeah I’m not getting carried away really, it’s just great to see our young lads start so well after stepping up. Against you we had 6 academy lads in the starting line up, we’ve made 5 changes tonight but still had 5 academy lads in the starting line up plus another 5 on the bench. And we’re 5-0 up! I like the number 5.

I am not going to assert that Exeter are a team from the Gods likely to dominate the game for years to come. But at least winning 7-0 shows they were in form and we didn't lose to a team looking for its first win in 6 months etc.
