Outside of the opening 10 minutes or so I thought that was really good from us. Looked crisp with the ball and asked a lot of questions of them. Keep it going Vale.

With both Funso and Tommy on yellows and the 5 subs allowed it may be something for DC to think about on the hour in terms of them two.

Fair play to the lad. He has gone from youth team to League 1 in a matter of months. The experience won’t do him any harm.

What we need is another GK and two forwards...who would have thought that other players on our team playing in different positions would be allowed to score?

BTW the player on the car park yesterday was their number 20. He got here a day early...
