Naysayers checklist… tick them off as you hear/ read them today…

1. Fleetwood dominate possession in the first 20 minutes ,,, “ we re rubbish come on Clarke get a grip told you we needed more signings, told you”

2. On 25 minutes under pressure Stone over hits a clearance and instead of finding a Vale player it goes directly out of play … “ bloody rubbish stone I told you we should have had another keeper in by now, told you“

3. On 38 minutes Fleetwood make their superior possession tell and a good cross in that no man’s land area between keeper and central defender is turned in to put Fleetwood a goal up …. “ bloody rubbish Stone/Smith/Cass/ Hall * (delete as appropriate) told you we should have kept Gibbons told you”

4. On 43 minutes Garity wins a header in his own half and embarks on a lung busting run to get to the edge of Fleetwood area in front of their midfielders and latches onto a scruffy Wozza cross but drags his shot harmlessly wide …. “ he s not good enough for this league come on Clark make a change told you we wanted more signings, told you !)

5. Boosted by a triple half time substitution vale take the game to Fleetwood and get their reward in the 79 th minute with a well taken equaliser. Despite their efforts in the remaining 11 minutes they can’t force a win and have to settle for a well earned point… “ we were so lucky to even get a point if we can’t beat these we are in real trouble… told you we needed more players come on vale sort it out told you we need more players”

it will be tough game today their new manager is surely going to do well with his pedigree as a player… we must keep believing and get behind this fabulous club of ours. If we can get through this season intact I believe the next 3-5 years could be wonderful for us.

This is but a minor point but the training tops the players are using during the warmups needs to be put on sale in the club shop instantly. Looks really smart.

The fanzone was absolutely rammed. Easy getting in though and no issues with the speakers... yet !

From in the Bycars the new sound system is spot on. Only queue was at the kiosk but that was down to more in here today. When walking past the Railway didn’t seem any queues being particularly bad to be honest but was quite early.
