Tickets now on Sale

AMF

Recommended Posts

Just noticed that you can't yet buy a ticket for the Fleetwood game, 12 days before the season kicks off.

Even Derby are selling tickets for their first 2 home games of the season. They were going bust 2 weeks ago! Shouldn't we start allowing non-season ticket holders to part with their cash for the first two games of the season by now? On a side note, they'll be just over 200 available to purchase in the Lorne Street for league games so I would imagine they'll sell out pre-match day for almost every match this season.

I don't think he wants to go in the ground yet, just buy a ticket.

It could be to do with the bar codes though.

If the turnstiles are automated, you're going to need to send out tickets with the right code on it (may be a different system from previous seasons)

As the tickets are normally emailed to you (complete with bar code) a matter of minutes after you order, I guess you'd need to be confident it's all going to work. Perhaps the club are holding on till it's all complete and tested?

Does this really need another negative thread 🙈

I think to be fair, it's not "negative". The original post was asking a question based on a fact (tickets aren't available) and another fact (another club is selling tickets). I think as fans it's not negative to ask a question, if there's something of concern.

There's an awful lot of praise for the owners (and rightly so) and you only have to see the reaction to the £1.2m ground improvements thread to see an example of that.

However, no-one is 100% perfect, even our owners, and sometimes things can slip or be missed.

I don't think it's negative for people to ask a question about something that may affect them as threads like this can be picked up by the club and responded to. It may be in hand, it may not, but it potentially makes the club aware that some fans are asking the question and gives them a chance to explain / solve the issue.

So, I think there's always place for questions and feedback - both good and bad - just so long as the owners listen to it, which I am sure our excellent owners will.

That’s what I meant.😉
