I'm usually of the same opinion as Mr Hobblesworth in that my preference for strips is to be really simple. However, I too really like this top and the strip as a whole. Whether I buy one - I'm not sure - I feel I may too old for one at 47. However, I'm sure we'll sell plenty of these over the weekend and Vale can make some more money.

Best shirt for me since the black away one was launched. This looks retro but not dated, still a modern design and interesting enough to become a classic in its own right, not just a nod to the old Kalamazoo design.

The new away kit is smart, but will we be wearing it much? I can only think of MK, Derby and Bolton who wear white, while there are quite a few teams wearing blue at home in L1.

Depends if it’s a true away kit ie the default for all away games (changes to third yellow/gold kit if home team wear blue - Ipswich, Portsmouth, Sheff Wed etc) or a change kit worn if the home team’s kit clashes with our home/first choice kit.
