The Macca crowd certainly got value for money with Growl and Bruce rocking up.  I enjoyed his set - the London press being a bit arsey about his choice of songs, but they can go and do one.  Paul's back catalogue is so huge, he is never going to please everyone.  And yes, the voice ain't what it was, but we have just seen an octogenarian play a 2 hour 40 minute set which lit the place up.  Fair play to him - I want what he has for breakfast, even if it isn't a bacon fry up!  The man is a legend, and when he dueted with John on screen, it made me wonder what might have been.  Glad I'm alive to see all these old rockers smash it out of the park - I've been to see Jeff Lynne's ELO, Billy Joel and the Eagles in recent years, and they were all superb - done their dues, and they songs will live on - unlike a lot of the present stuff.

IMO the line ups have been crap this year,  best ones have been supergrass, wet leg and Noel Gallagher.
best ever foo fighters and John Fogarty.
I think the Foo Fighters put on a good show. Maybe they're just not my bag as their songs bore me apart from Everlong. I find American rock music a bit corny. It doesn't have the subtlety of the British stuff.

Noel was good last night but he doesn't half play the moody rock star a bit too much. He looked a bit bored. His back catalogue is far more worthy than some of the headliners though.

Supergrass are massively underrated in my opinion.

I saw Supergrass on their farewell tour about 12 years ago and they were pretty disinterested, phoning it in. Gone off the idea of seeing them again now they’ve reformed.

When I wanted to go to Glasto I couldn’t afford it. Now I can, I’m too old.

There's some great stuff there this year. Myself, I'm bored rigid by the likes of Elbow, Blossoms, McCartney, that oasis man. Stodgy Sam Allardyce music.

Olivia Rodrigo was great fun, enjoyed Self Esteem's cathedral breasts, Megan thee Stallion was entertaining too. Black Midi confused me although I like the albums. Wish they showed highlights from more stages, there's a woman called Nilufer Yanyana playing one of the smaller stages and she's ace.
