Seeing that badge had me wondering ! How many folk have got this one ? We could start another thread here. Nowt else really going on at the moment.

1977 badge, broken. been through a lot.  Gets a kiss every now and then. Still comes out on days I can't be there. Did well last year.

I went there......I am sure it was 1990 and I think that day set a record for Britains hottest day at the time.

I played for junior junior Valiants, my mates played for the older ones, then I remember they started chatting up a bird who looked like Katie off Neighbours. 

Marg Bulger always had a tuck shop at the back of the bus. Great days.

A ha, it all makes sense, RSB, Reggie boy!! I am Woody, little Steve, I hung around with Stubby and Spunna who were older than me. You arranged for me to be mascot at Preston at the start if the 1988-89 season, and you took photos of me on the pitch but you said you had no film in the camera!! Hahahhaa. I have always been forever grateful that I was a mascot all those years ago. I remember Mel and Craig....and poor Marg getting whacked with the ball in the gym many a time as sold sweets to other young little terrors.

Just got back home after spending a few hours at the club.  Nicely busy, queues but not excessive.  Sunshine, Carol & Kev, new shirts on sale, ticket office open for sales, promotion trophy photo shoot, £1 bottle bar, decent food, DJ, free tea/coffee/soft drinks, activities for the kids, what’s not to like.  If you can’t make today, make it tomorrow.  Great vibe.

Been mesen, must be another record shirt sales day, I queued for 30 minutes for mine and they had about 6 people serving.
