Well at the start of last season their fixtures were fir both the Championship and L1, because they were in a legal wrangle with Wycombe as to who should be in which division. Wycombe quite rightly argued that they had everything in place to play in the Championship, the main thing was that they not only could field 11 players but also had a squad of players, with Derby having neither. As a result of this Wycombe took Derby to court at the same time as Middlesbrough were involved in a legal dispute with Derby. Boron’s was the fact that they missed out on the plays offs when Derby broke the FFP rules (now settled) but as I understand Wycombe is still ongoing. If I’m right had Derby been deducted the points the season before last Wycombe wouldn’t have been relegated. I think any new owners have used this as a obstacle. So as has already been stated on this thread the EFL are a laughing stock and i have no idea what purpose of any they’d be fit to run.

Correct, the club sold the stadium to one of Mel Morris' companies before the club going into admin.

 

So basically he sold it himself, then plunged the club's future into doubt.

Fair enough and refreshingly honest of you.

I'm like that myself, still dislike Rotherham purely because of Fatty Evans time there, berserk really. Yet he's had umpteen clubs but irrationally i can't stand them.

I am deeply saddened by Bury. I have worked in Bury and like Bury as a town and borough. I have been to their ground many times, usually with a losing game experience, but nonetheless I liked the club and stadium. So I absolutely don't want Derby County going out of business. Another place I like and a club with a great history. They seem to have enough investor interest and the new preferred bidder is local and independently wealthy. So whilst knowing nothing at all! I hope they will survive. But Bury still frustrates me - I can't get over that. Their supporters massively didn't deserve what happened.
