Yes, but children can attend, together with adults so many per child. Similar rule to the game at Wolves.

That's what happens when you play with 7 defenders and only 3 attackers. Lineker is spot-on about Southgate's tactics and ultra-cautious approach.

Southgate won't change though - he said as much during his little tantrum in the press conference last week.

We can all name now what his starting XI will be for the first World Cup game in November (obviously barring injuries) :-

Pickford, James, Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw, Rice, Phillips, Mount, Sterling, Kane.

World-class players like Alexander-Arnold, Bellingham and Foden will be benched while Southgate continues to pick his favourites :-

James - even if there's space in front of him he'll actually get into tackles in order to turn back to his own goal and pass backwards! His first reaction on receiving the ball is to stop and look to pass sideways or backwards, but he's far from the only one to do that in Southgate's England.

Mount - brings energy and a high press but offers nothing much else & did naff-all in the Euros, yet gets picked game after game after game. There was criticism when the media labelled him as 'teacher's pet', but that's exactly how it comes across, no matter how he plays. Witness the other night when the lack of goals in the team (other than from Kane and Sterling) was questioned and Southgate just replied that some of the players (clearly Mount) score for their clubs so we just need to get them into positions to do it for England (as opposed to dropping them for other players).

Kalvin Phillips - a decent backup option to Declan Rice, or alongside him ONLY if we are expecting to get battered and have to hang on in a game. Otherwise its massively negative to play him AND Rice in this defensive double pivot if the onus is on us to try and win the game. Particularly when you've got a fantastic box-to-box player in Bellingham that is capable of influencing games at both ends of the pitch.

Southgate has obviously done a good job in progressing us in tournaments but he lacks that boldness and bravado to enable us to make that last step, which is pretty gutting with the attacking talent that he has at his disposal to unleash.

 

......anyway, are those 2 tickets still available?! 🤣

So ponderous and boring to watch, with so little creativity.  Makes you realise how much we need players like Foden.

Might just watch the cricket highlights instead.

I remember Peter Coates saying back in the day that The Premier League would help improve English football because the homegrown players would learn off the foreign players.
